Strengthen Skandiahamnen for the Future!
NCC is reinforcing Skandiahamnen in Gothenburg to enable the reception of larger vessels – a billion-dollar project in collaboration with Gothenburg Port AB. With technically advanced solutions such as underwater casting, extensive piling, and new quay systems, work is ongoing in a port that is simultaneously fully operational.

The Civil SE West department operates in Gothenburg, Northern Halland, Älvsborg, Bohuslän, and Dalsland. The work covers the entire chain, from design and construction to production within land and civil engineering projects. We have about 300 employees divided into four production areas and a specialist group. The position is in our production group for concrete and road in Gothenburg.

The Position of Measurement Manager

As the Measurement Manager at Skandiaporten, you will play an important role where you are responsible for planning and executing measurement work within the project. You will lead and allocate measurement efforts, ensure that everything is performed according to technical requirements, and make critical decisions within your area of expertise. You will also perform measurements, calculate quantities, and verify results to ensure precision and quality. Monitoring and managing the GEOMOS system that controls movements in the work area, as well as following up on the control program.

An important part of the job is to review drawings and models, manage the equipment used for measurement and testing, and participate in design work. You actively contribute to maintaining and developing specialist knowledge in the area through collaboration and environmental monitoring. You are also a sounding board for new employees and share your knowledge in geodesy to develop your colleagues.

As the Measurement Manager in the extensive and technically advanced Skandiaporten project, you are a vital part of preparing Gothenburg's port for future challenges and opportunities.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with at least eight years of experience in setting out and measuring within land and concrete, preferably from similar projects. You have several years of experience leading measurement work and hold a post-secondary education in the field, preferably with a focus on measurement technology. Since the role involves collaboration across the entire organization, especially with our projects, you have good knowledge of both Swedish and English.

Additional Information

The position is permanent with placement in projects within the region, based in Gothenburg. Start date by agreement. A driver's license is required as there may be some travel involved. This position is subject to background checks in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
